Acocks Green YBC

 

 

Acocks Green Youth Tenpin Bowling Club (YBC) promotes the sport of ten pin bowling to anyone within the age range of 6 to 24. As long as you're prepared to have FUN you are welcome.

 

Members are instructed to League/County/National standards by our registered Coaches who are all trained to European Bowling Federation Standards. As in all sports we have a Child Safeguarding Policy in operation 

 

The YBC is run purely by volunteers, who are licenced by the British Tenpin Bowling Association (BTBA). All of our Officials, Coaches & helpers have all had an Enhanced DBS check.

We are one of the oldest established TBCs in the Country (if not the oldest) having been in existence for over 55 years. in 2017 we were awarded a certificate from the BTBA celebrating this fact. Our President was recently awarded 

The British Empire Medal for Services to sport. He won't thank us for publishing this but we are very proud of him.

​

We have so far produced 6 International Bowlers 2 of which went on to represent England at the World Championships.

​

We are also very well represented in the Warwickshire County squad every year.

 

The Club meets at 09.45 am every Saturday morning at Acocks Green Bowl
